About me
Background
Ahmed has 22 years of professional experience in Deal Advisory and IPO. Ahmed is the ex-Sr. Partner responsible for the Transaction Services (TS) and Advisory practices at KPMG Middle East, until April 2022. Prior to joining the TS practice in 2005, Ahmed was enrolled in KPMG audit function since 2000 and used to provide assurance services for major banks, funds, investment companies and manufacturers.
Representative Professional Services Experience
- Managed and supervised carve-out advisory assignments related to the several industries;
- Managed and supervised financial and tax due diligence engagements including – but not limited to – underlying EBITDA, net debt, working capital and enterprise values;
- Ahmed’s TS exposure involves diagnostic assignments for restructuring in connection to post and pre-deal due diligences, completion and Leakage accounts, SPA support,…etc; and
- Managed and supervised TS engagements on behalf of several international/regional accounts and investment vehicles in terms of the following:

Assisting with Disposals
Improving the value of bids submitted throughout limiting value leakage to completion; and
Maintaining value post completion;
Limiting disruption to the transaction process and their business; and
Led and assist in IPO work in several jurisdictions:
